Charles and Denise Reinert have worked in both residential and commercial construction for more than 35 years, the last 14 of which have been in the central North Carolina area.
Charles Reinert trained in Pennsylvania working for a framing contractor; while he was under their employ, they asked Charles to take over the business – even though he was one of their youngest employees – because of his work quality and ethic. Subsequently, he took over the company, and ran it successfully for 13 years.
For 5 years, Charles worked as a project manager for several nationally known homebuilders. In 1996, Charles and Denise moved their family to North Carolina, where they settled in and set up Reinert Construction. Since the inception of the company, they have worked with residential and commercial construction throughout the state, including such prestigious works of art as custom homes built in Weston Estates, Wakefield Plantation, Preston Village, and the Preston Country Club community. However, though Charles excels in such projects, he also enjoys a wide variety of smaller projects, including renovations, additions, screened porches, outdoor kitchens/living areas, decks/patios, wine cellars, and even custom water gardens.
The Reinerts fully believe in the value of active community participation. In the Triangle, they have participated on various Development Boards, including Preston, Weston, and the non-profit organization Life Experiences; they’ve also been members of Chambers of Commerce for Cary, Apex, and Morrisville, and have been part of various business organizations including WBON. Every summer, Charles also spends 10 days with the Appalachian Service Project (ASP), participating in community service projects throughout Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
