Derek Reinert - President

Derek Reinert, a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina, took over the company in 2022 when Charles and Denise Reinert retired. He grew up in Holland, PA and moved to the Triangle area in 2013 to begin working for Reinert Construction, starting as a Foreman and learning the business from the ground up. After getting associates degrees in Building & Residential construction, as well as Masonry from Pennsylvania College of Technology, Derek began his career in the construction industry.

Since 2011, Derek has worked as a carpenter, trimmer, framer, mason, furniture maker and cabinet maker, including modular building installation/tearing down. Through these experiences, he has developed specialties in masonry, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet making and building furniture.

Derek takes pride in watching ideas come to life, and the chance to go back to projects years later and still see them standing. When not on the job, Derek enjoys being active, Crossfit, and working with the Appalachian Service Project. Derek and his wife, Jessica, welcomed their first baby in July 2022.

Charles & Denise Reinert - Retired

Charles and Denise started Reinert Construction in 1996 in Cary, NC, and retired in 2022 where Derek Reinert took over as President.

Charles Reinert got his construction start in Pennsylvania.  His work ethic and high standards for quality launched his career and built his reputation.  Shortly after entering the profession, Charles ran a successful framing company for 13 years and worked for several nationally known home builders as a project manager. Charles loves working with his hands and spends time in his shop building custom furniture. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting in the Montana and tending his organic vegetable garden.

Denise Reinert was a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina and has co-owned, managed, and worked in construction companies since 1974. She began her residential construction career in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Denise loves seeing client’s reaction and appreciation of finished projects. In her spare time, she loves to travel and enjoys her quiet time reading a good book.

In 1996, Charles and Denise moved their family to North Carolina, where they established Reinert Construction. Since the inception of the company, they have worked on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the state, including custom homes construction in nationally renowned neighborhoods such as Weston Estates, Wakefield Plantation, Preston Village, and the Preston Country Club community.

Dale Reinert

Dale Reinert is a Foreman at Reinert Construction. With over 50 years’ experience in construction, Dale has the knowledge and experience to bring our projects to completion. He has managed a wide range of projects including custom homes, renovations, modular and commercial construction.

Dale is also a highly skilled stone mason. His stonework adds a unique custom feature that completes the home for an impressive curb appeal.

Dale is very active in his church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
